Anybody thinking of doing a clean install W/SU5?

Recommended Posts

No. "It is what it is", but I trust Asobo can pull this off.😉

Yes.  I have had continuous problems with MSFS (only, not my system) freezing or at times locking up my whole system.  I have uninstalled and am looking forward with great hopes for a fresh and successful new start!  Fingers crossed.  I will wait at least two days to first see what unwinds here in regard to update results and any broken addons.  Meanwhile I have ceased looking at addon scenery and mods as I expect many if not most may need updating anyway.

Definitely not. Zero reasons to do clean install.

if anyone is gonna reinstall the sim, might as well reinstall windows too, especially if that pc is just for the sim.  If the uninstallation is not done right, you may end up with more headaches .Just did a fresh reinstallation of windows since I build the pc last July. Installation took about 30 minutes

Hopefully I won't have to re-install.

Yes, re-installing is 30 minutes but then it’s an eternity to fetch the backlog of updates. Installing windows is like taking out your own appendix with a rusty spoon.  😅

wanted me to have 111gb free so I just uninstalled and reinstalled.
