First test now:

Sim loading slower than ever before, with no mods in Community folder.

Loaded up at KJFK, performance okay-ish.

After takeoff the performance increases and is really smooth.

The downside is this:

Every time I look around (track IR), it looks like a blast wave went off around me, rendering things. It takes about 1 second to load fully, so it's enough to take you out of the experience and remind you you're in a fake world. So that sucks.

Yea this is interesting as some are reporting much lower GPU usage and temperatures. My 3070 is at a consistent 98 percentage usage and temperature at 79 to 80 degrees. I don't understand it.

That's odd. I have the same card and running 30% fan and 40c.

Took 3 hours to get to 50% and the last hour only shows a 7% increase, so things are definitely slowing down.

I am hoping download file size gonna increase and expedite the download. But right now I am at 15% in 30min. If it continues that way it will take like 3 hours and I need to wake up 4:30 in the morning and it's already evening here at my place 😞

I was expecting a 3 hour download after I got to 15% in 30 mins then things started slowing down and I'm now looking at 6 hours.

My 3080ti was also running full speed, 75 degrees.
exited, limited MSFS to 60 FPS in Nvidia Control Panel - problem solved.

Impressive, I hope for more headroom in VR to crank eye candy settings up higher

Only thing I don't like about the marketplace so far is I don't see a filter option for "Owned" just "Hide Owned"

Just checked on my download, surpassed 70%. The [blank] is getting real now. About an hour and a half to go. My GPU is about 20%. Not sure why some are at 90% or more during the download. Strange.

Any FPS increase? I did a flight at my local airport this afternoon and noted all the load times along with FPS on the ground, take off, cruise and approach. It will be interesting to see what happens when I replicate this tomorrow.

I was get 5MBits/s which is about 0.5MB download, pathetic.  I cancelled the download quit the thing all together - started again and now getting much higher speeds.  Try it if you brave enough 🙂

My GPU is at 100 % and at 68 °C temp (high) ?

It's because there nothing to limit fps rate. You must enable frame limiter in game settings or in videocard settings.

I'm just downloading content update (20 GB). But why does this force my GPU to run at full power?
