Seafront Simulations releases Enhanced AI + Vessels Global

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

Hi pilots,

If you like seeing ships and boats, go and grab you copies @Orbx.
I can assure you won't be disappointed, the folks behind Seafront Simulations did an amazing job with no fps impact.
Really one of the best addons for MSFS so far.

screens and models look amazing, tempted but as a high flyer typically in the FBW neo I will pass for the moment

Edit after visiting their page and seeing the moderate price tag I am indeed even more tempted

I will get this, but I wonder if it will be compatible after the quick fix today, so I'll wait until I know for sure.

Only updates the default boats, doesn't add traffic. Think I'll stick with henriks mod as i prefer the Live aspect of it.

Global shipping ads traffic, but require AI vessels, so you need to buy both to get enhanced traffic.

It looks like cruise ships were not yet updated.
Can someone please check?

When you have freeware addons as such below with more ships and significantly more different classes of ships that is free

https://www.fsdeveloper.com/forum/threads/global-ai-ship-traffic-fsx-p3d-and-msfs2020.436946/

it looks like your paying for a  captain sim style addon opposed to a freeware pmdg quality addon

How many new models are acutally included? Seafront says in another thread that it is much less than the Global AI Ship Traffic and the pictures and youtube video show a quite limited number of models again and again? Did anyone check the model folders? I would like to have more ships but I don't want to pay to see the same ships repeated all over. And can you land on them?
