Handy Link List: ACES bloggers - bookmark 'em

Recommended Posts

Gathered these (not exhaustive, there are others I haven't discovered yet). A good list is on Paul Lange's blog. Some might find them useful in keeping up with what the ACES team is thinking and doing:Phil Taylorhttp://blogs.msdn.com/ptaylor/default.aspxPaul Langehttp://blogs.technet.com/p-12c_pilot/default.aspxHal Bryanhttp://halbryan.spaces.live.com/Tim Gregsonhttp://blogs.technet.com/beatlesblog/default.aspxAdrian Woodshttp://blogs.technet.com/torgo3000/Brett Schnepf (Mavryk)http://mavyryk.spaces.live.com/And now, a personal note:I find it refreshing that these folks have publicly accessible blogs, pay close attention to what's going on in the community forums, take the time to answer questions, and are engaging with their customers in a transparent way.Not to mention that they're programming one of the most complex pieces of software ever developed at the same time.Microsoft is a big, big corporation. It's easy for it to appear monolithic. My hats off to the ACES team for their engagement in the community. Is FSX perfect? It never is. Do I cuss it sometimes; yep!Is it the best flight simulator there is? Absolutely, flaws and all. Will it get better? I believe the ACES team is extremely passionate about making it better and providing this community with the best flying experience $59.00 can buy.Cheers.

You've got my old blog link above, something happened to my account and I can't get to that location anymore so I moved my blog to Windows Live Spaces (link in my sig below)

Hi Tim,Maybe I'm weird, but, could you move the stock quote to the top across the columns or something. It ends up squishing your content space making it harder to read for me.As a side note...I don't know how many people will see this (The ad for the Mercury Mariner across the top of the blog, maybe you've seen it elsewhere), but you've gotta love an SUV ad where they actully put the term ROLLOVER in capital letters right in the middle of the ad :-) Thomas[a href=http://www.flyingscool.com] http://www.flyingscool.com/images/Signature.jpg [/a]I like using VC's :-)N15802 KASH '73 Piper Cherokee Challenger 180

Hi Thomas,<>I'm just using one of the stock layouts for the windows live spaces, so can't really do that. But if you click on the blog link at the top of the blog section (or add /blog/ to the web address), you will get just the blog part without the right hand column stuff. I could make the right hand column smaller (or narrower really :-> ), but that made the blog lists further down display wrapped around which I didn't like so went with same sized middle and right columns, and when I eventually get around to uploading some pictures, would make the picture viewer smaller :->Thanks for reading the blog,
