August 3, 20214 yr Hi all, Have an issue since the latest update that the display gets distorted near the top of the screen in a strip. It almost looks like screen tearing but not quite the same, its a big strip of pixilation only visible when the camera moves around. Any idea what's causing this and how to fix? Thanks MSFS 2024
August 3, 20214 yr I've had that. Fiddled with the settings and it's stopped. I did read that it happens if render scaling isn't set to 100 but I cannot confirm this.

I would like to set it a bit higher to enjoy my 4k screen. MSFS 2024
August 3, 20214 yr Screen tearing can usually be fixed by settting VSync to on in the Sim Options Menu. You then also need to set a FPS limit of either 30 or 60 though. Setting render scaling to 120 on a 4K screen might be asking too much of your GPU, even a 2080Ti. You are effectively turning it into a 5K screen - that's a lot of pixels to drive. My performance was quite good with the 120 but maybe you're right. MSFS 2024
