It is not the FBW, it is MSFS not knowing anymore where my Community folder is stored........ that is the culprit to be honest...... besides Watsi's hint, I once ran into the issue that MSFS re-installed and did use a new (default) installation folder, i.e. it did not recognize my custom MSFS installation folder to install over the existing files. Thus you now download the FBW and it installs in your "old" folder but not the new one which MSFS actually looks for custom files/mods/addons. I only found this out when I realized that my SSD space significantly decreased due to the "double" installation of MSFS. August 4, 20214 yr Author Yes, that's the case. Thanks! See what I can do to resolve this. Menno i7-11700, 16GB, 1 TB SSD, 2 TB HDD, RTX 3070, Windows 11, MSFS 2020 DeLuxe, P3D 4.5
August 4, 20214 yr If I remember correctly I deleted MSFS again and then re-installed from scratch but directing it to the "old" MSFS install folder which then worked as MSFS only installed those files which needed to be replaced, so no >100gib download, of course it could be set using the user.cfg file but I did not know (and hence try) that way Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"

August 4, 20214 yr Yes you can, but the easier way is to download Notepad++ (FREE), right click on the file and open with Notepad++ from the menu that appears... Edited August 4, 20214 yr by Gadget FPV Faisal Niazi

Thanks for all the input guys! Got the UserCfg adjusted to reading my original Community folder and all is well (apart from the troubles SU5 gave that leads to CTD's, those are still present, but off line I can fly). Happy Landings! Menno i7-11700, 16GB, 1 TB SSD, 2 TB HDD, RTX 3070, Windows 11, MSFS 2020 DeLuxe, P3D 4.5
