August 6, 20214 yr I just finally finished translating an entire real world airline's SOPs into MCE to use with the NGXu and loads of it is working very nicely. There are however a few items I couldn't get to work and that I think may have to be updated to work. - Engine fire system test: The F/O only moves the test switch to the left but not to the right afterwards to test the majority of fire systems such as engines and apu. - Cargo fire test: Doesn't seem to work at all. Note that the switch has to be pushed down for several seconds to initiate the test, not just briefly. - In both of these tests, the correct procedure is to cancel the warning bell first via the master fire warning button before letting the test switch go back into neutral. Maybe this could be one command in MCE. - Engine fire extinguisher test: F/O only tests engine number one extinguishers (only turns the switch to the left). - "Left stab trim cutout switch normal" command: F/O turns the switch to off then to normal again and leaves the guard open, whereas the command to switch it off does nothing. - "Right stab trim cutout switch normal" command: F/O turns if off instead of setting it to normal and only moves the guard when commanded to switch the system off. - Wing anti ice doesn't seem to have a command or just doesn't work. - ND range commands aren't changing the range. - Clock and weather radar (e. g. set turbulence) commands: F/O sets the Captain's clock and radar; however I think it makes more sense for him to set his own clock and radar instead. One more question: I believe the VOR 1 and 2 switches on the efis can be manipulated as I recall the F/O turning mine off at some point. I can't however work out which command I used or which one the F/O heard. In any case, I also think it makes more sense here for the F/O to manipulate his own switches instead of the Captain's. The items you reported will be double-checked. Here is a list of some commands (there are other endless variations) you can use with NGX 737, PMDG or iFly. Either as direct commands to control a specific item, or as part of custom flows including emergency ones. No need to type them. Download this zip file , unpack and put "Available_Commands.dat" file in each PMDG 737 NG script folder. After that, when you go to "add command" screen in MCE interface, you should see a list of 737 NG related commands below available for selection. master battery on battery turn off cockpit to ground The disengage lights test doesn't seem to have a command (next to the brake pressure indicator). It doesn't have one. But when you ask Fo to disengage autopilot he usually knows he must follow that with a press of the disengage light (kind of automated). EDIT: I may have misunderstood your query. there are indeed commands to get FO to test the autoflight disengage lights. here they are check autoflight disengage lights test ap disconnection lights verify autopilot disengaged lights ....many other variations... August 13, 20214 yr I fell asleep and dreamt PMDG had just released the 737 for MSFS...🤭 If/when it is, just imagine all those commands to play with?😉
