Saving controls setting before reinstalling

Is there a way to save my control settings previous to reinstalling MSFS  ?

That article didnt answer my question.- I want to know is if there is  a config file or something where control settings are store, so I can save it before uninstalling and reinstalling so keeping my settings which took me a lot of work

Ive reinstalled 3 or 4 times...your settings are saved in the cloud so no config file to save..at least not for me...every time they are back!

There are files but they are labeled in a fashion that makes it difficult  to determine what goes with what, and the interrelationships between files has not been defined that I am aware of.  Reliance on the Cloud storage is the only viable avenue.  Those are tied to your login.

When I re-installed, all my setting were the same, no adjustments needed.
