Envshade (lighten cockpit/ darkness at night)

Is there a way to reduce the HDR contrast (to lighten inside the cockpit) and still get a dark environment at night.

I found out that the more you reduce the HDR contrast the lighten is the sky at night.

I did try to increase HDR night darkness but it did not work for me.

Try to pull Aircraft shadows depth all the way to the left on very low in Envshade. Make sure you have the last version 1.1.6.7

I did try both, but I think sky darkness and cockpit brightness are linked with that HDR contrast. 
 

Brighter cockpit = brighter sky. 
I don’t believe there is a way around but if you think of something let me know
