Still, IMHO, having 10 physical cores at 5.2GHz trumps having other capabilities my sim can't really leverage...

Thank you very much for your opinion. I appreciate it a lot.

Will stay with 10900K. No video editing, just flying and a lot of Excel  and my M.2 nvme SSD is PCIe 3.0 only (Samsung Evo 970 Plus).
