I recently read a blog from Mir at Flightbeam who stated it can take 6 to 12 weeks for Marketplace to update products. So, I always buy from an online store. Its crazy they can take that long. August 14, 20214 yr With this update I did a flight from EGGP to EGLC last night in the TBM, not a plane I would normaly fly but I am enjoying the G3000wt as I have never used it. I really like how you can set VNAV up and enter all the contrates coming into EGLC. It worked so well, making the TBM really nice to use becasue of the G3000wt. So I left my LOD at 400/400 and thougth i would give it a good go. Now Before SU5,with LOD 200/200 I would be out of VRAM at EGLC, EGLC did not like me going to an outside view and paning around, but was just OK if flying out but right on the edge. So with 400/400 I thought I was pushing my luck! Well no! The G3000 was great hiting all contrates the GS perfectly and down we went on that very "late" GS path. Landed, taxied in, all perfect. Went to an exterior view to do a fast spin round and again perfect. There are a lot of bug I hate about SU5 but performance and smoothness are fantastic. Orbx London and EGLC really was an amazing sight to see on top of the GS. I forgot to take a screenshow as I need to lift my jaw of the floor... The one thing I hope they fix with a FOV slider or it could also be a bug, is looking striaght down at your seat or just low down view you get a stutter when looking back up its not just TrackIR you get it with mouse look also when looking when on the ground doing full left to right views. Once you take off all that stops. So why its a problem on the ground i have no idea. Its less so in some very lite fps aircraft. Anyway SU6 hopefully. But there is no reason to not enjoy London and EGLC in full glory now thanks to SU5 with what ever LOD your PC likes. Edited August 14, 20214 yr by Nyxx David Murden.
