January 9, 20224 yr While Carenado planes may not be world class, their C-170 is just too well appointed to not love. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. January 9, 20224 yr I'm a fan of flying heavy metal and I haven't seen any payware birds that interest me. I'll take a look at the Fenix A320 when it comes out. I'll also buy a 737, 777, A330, L-1011& Concorde when good ones come out for MSFS. 9800X3D | 5080 | 32GB | 2TB NVME | Dell Ultrasharp U3415W 34" | 3440 x 1440 60Hz
January 9, 20224 yr Another project to look foward to is the Wing 42 B247 will turn heads what msfs can do.
January 9, 20224 yr My two cents: - Scenery: I've never seen so many sceneries released in such a short timeframe (despite some of them being ports of FSX/P3D sceneries). If I must judge because of only this, I give MSFS 10/10 points. But I only care about two or three airports, because I know them so well in real life, that I can´t stand less. - GA: I only need a fast single prop, and I got it: the Carenado Mooney. Works fine enough for my purposes. Anything else, I can complete with the default fleet (which I feel it's a lot better than FSX default, and even some FSX/P3D payware). - Propliners: they were never my type, but I got the DC-6, and I don´t regret it at all 😍 - Airliners: These.Are.My.Type! And the only thing that prevents me from saying that, after almost 18 months, MSFS is a total disappointment is actually the freeware FBW A320. I was never interested in the CRJ, since almost no one flies it in this end of the world. Yeah, you can compare with the development times for the NGX and the 747 for FSX, but the Level-D 767 was available just 8 months after launch (and I still keep FSX installed because of this). And yes, I'm looking forward to the Fenix/PMDG 737/Maddog releases, and my wallet is dreading it. - Weather: even worse than airliners! Maybe am I spoiled by ActiveSky? - ATC: I have PF3 since FS9 days. I could make it work with MSFS, but honestly, I prefer the text-to-speech facilities in the default ATC, that can pronounce intersections as a single word (instead of letter-by-letter) and whatever callsign that appears. If only there's any ATC package that can take the PF3 (or your favorite ATC software) procedures, and mix it with the text-to-speech and fluency of the default MSFS one, it would be gold... January 9, 20224 yr Hopefully 2022 is going to bring the airliners from Fenix, PMDG and Maddog. and the major bugs that are holding back progress are taken care of ASAp, otherwise some may start drifting back or even switch to get their airliner fix despite the graphics being better compared to other sims at the moment. Oh and i forgot the two offerings from Just Flight, one being the Bae146, and Foker F28 Edited January 9, 20224 yr by Car147 AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3d, MSI X570 Pro, 32 gb DDR4 3600 ram, Gigabyte 6800 16gb GPU, 1x 2tb Samsung NvMe , 1x 2tb Sabrent NvME, 1x Crucial 4tb Nvme M2 Drive
