It would make sense if it was an airport environment simulator where you could get out and walk around... but you won't even see this unless you go and specifically look for it with the camera . It just a promo vid. There are no dancers in the actual sim airport! (Unless there's an Easter egg?). My view on this is that as long as the exterior airport in its entirety is as accurate and detailed as it can possibly be having modelled interiors is a bonus. Especially when you can see through the terminal windows from the cockpit. Edit. Although come to think of it a Disco at Bristol airport would be preferable to the drunken brawling one is more likely to see!😂 Edited August 26, 20214 yr by jarmstro

In fact materials are highly recursive worldwide. Multiple uvs are a must though mainly speaking unpacking the materials from the normal map and therefore an ability to work in a procedural resolution manner. He is an artist himself 😃 Big time that too ! Ryzen 5 1600x - 16GB DDR4 - RTX 3050 8GB - MSI Gaming Plus

It uses JSBSim, which is a pretty powerful flight dynamics engine. Especially the freeware MD-11 is great, developed by Octal450. August 26, 20214 yr Commercial Member I've had a look at FG, but, let's just say it wasn't for me. I think we can all agree it's not as mainstream as the big 3 (X-Plane, DCS and MSFS)

Why the fixation on XP to the exclusion of the others? I realise you have a vested interest but it seems such a shame. I would love to have a Saab in MSFS, even if it was a bit compromised, and you are already 50% there. Edited August 26, 20214 yr by jarmstro

August 26, 20214 yr Just now, Janov said: How is he excluding "the others" when he mentions X-Plane, MSFS and DCS in one sentence equally as "the big 3"? 🤔 I meant that he won't even consider developing anything other than for XP. And I think that's a pity. I meant nothing more than that Jan.

Well, the reason is probably that techniques and workflow are completely different for different simulators, and to develop the Saab for DCS or MSFS would mean to learn the respective technology and develop the aircraft "from scratch" for each of those platforms. There is basically no "porting" between those platforms. It would make sense to develop for MSFS in the economical aspect - but it would make even more sense to make colored funny hats to wear in Fortnite. Edited August 26, 20214 yr by Janov
August 26, 20214 yr Author And now for something completely different !!! WOW !!! Not far from RELEASE !!! One of the paintings is that of my beloved TAP 747-282B, which I visited as a kid in 1973, 9 yo, in Lisbon TAP big Hangar, modified for the 747. I still remember the sensation of entering the cockpit, and the 5 or 6 girls from a school, all older than me and very pretty 🙂 What a day ! Its "market share" is almost non-existent compared to the big 5 (X-Plane, DCS, FSX, P3D, MSFS). It's a shame though, it was my first flight simulator and I really liked the experience. Currently only thing it lacks is high-fidelity third party add-ons, visuals have improved a lot recently with the introduction of physically based atmospherics.
