December 21, 20214 yr Just coming back to this simulation, it’s on the shortlist for my next purchase, either this or the FlyJsim Q400. I’m interested in flying the circuit and legacy approaches in the classic 747 but as I fly exclusively in VR I really don’t want to be jumping backwards and forwards between the captain and flight engineer positions. Are they any preset condition options with this sim like a “ ready for take off” selection that will automatically flip all the required flight engineer switches ? Or failing that if I start on the runway with the engines running can I fly the thing around the circuit and shoot approaches without having to jump to the engineer panel all the time? 787 captain. Previously 24 years on 747-400.Technical advisor on PMDG 747 legacy versions QOTS 1 , FS9 and Aerowinx PS1.

By default it only came with 2 condition: engine started or cold&dark, select by X-P's default selection. There is also an add-on script on x-plane.org of virtual FE that automatically run procedures
December 22, 20214 yr Thank you for that, I’ll take a look. Even with my own real world 747 skill set I still must admit to being a bit intimidated by that engineer panel. 787 captain. Previously 24 years on 747-400.Technical advisor on PMDG 747 legacy versions QOTS 1 , FS9 and Aerowinx PS1.
