Help with Hiding AI Aircraft please

Recommended Posts

I have some AI aircraft that are showing up in the FSX aircraft selection panel and decided to hide them. I have tried BBQHideAi and AirED to do this after searching this forum. But cannot hide the aircraft, although all the aircraft in question have the air file type set to 2 which according to my reading should do the trick. Can anyone offer any further suggestions, I am rapidly losing the last of my hair with this one, thanks.:(John

The .air file has nothing to do with aicraft showing in the FSX aircraft select menu.If you have AI Aircraft showing up then that is because your AI Plane has a panel folder with a panel.cfg file. Remove the panel folder and the aircraft menu will no longer show the airplane.
