I highly recommend this program! I use it to have my Behringer XTouch mini MIDI device all set up to control the WT CJ4. It's absolutely the coolest addition to my minimalist laptop setup!

Also the developer is very attentive and will answer any question you have, top notch stuff.

What hardware is that in front of your laptop?

how does this work? the control assignments get assigned to the aircraft that you have currently loaded? you don't assign a setting explicitly to an arbitrary aircraft, but MSFS assigns it for you to the one currently active?

if so, you have to go through this procedure to each and every single aircraft again? or do you load a previous setting and then assign it to the new airplane via APPLY before leaving the CONTROLS menu?

AAO knows which aircraft you are currently flying in MSFS. Because simconnect tells AAO.

The way AAO works is you make a profile for a specific aircraft. When you change aircraft in MSFS, AAO knows that you did. That planes name will now be at the top of the AAO main screen (e.g. JustFlight Arrow III). If you don't already have an AAO profile for it, then you just click on the AAO top menu box Templates, and then on 'Assign a Template for this Aircraft'. You then click on the name of the template from the drop down box that you want to use, and instantly all the controls in that profile template starts to work in MSFS.

Is there a „how to for dummies“ for AAO and Stream Deck?

So I buy AAO, install your scripts and I am good to go? Will do this Sir 🙂

Screenshots look good. Will give it a try tomorrow.

Exactly like this. 🙂

That's what I did a few days ago. Bought the Streamdeck XL, installed the AAO streamdeck plugin and some of the profiles provided by Guenseli (thanks a lot for these!) and could start using them right away.

I spent a few hours rearranging the buttons from the profiles to my liking and also combined it with the Flight Tracker Streamdeck Plugin (available on flightsim.to as well). Finally I created my own profile to control PF3 completely via the Streamdeck.

This really lifted the immersion with the FBW A320 to another level for me.

Not necessary really, it's all very intuitive.

So to use Guenseli flightsim.to plugins, then this is what you need?

1) Streamdeck XL console and it's software. ($250)

2) AAO software $21

3) Free flightsim.to Guenseli download profiles.

4) Windows 10 and MSFS on your gaming computer.

Yes, but you can change the order of course 😉

And you need the free StreamDeck plugin from the AAO Website

Installed the Axis and Ohs Demo, the Steam Deck Plugin, the A320 profile by Guensli - and it doesnt work 🙂

Axis and Oh is connected to the sim, i deactivated the firewall for testing purposes - I press buttons on the Streamdeck - and nothing happens in the sim.

Is there another step in between that I missed?

I'm not sure if you demo works with the stream deck. It wasn't working when I tried it so I just went ahead and purchased it but it was worth the money since it does so many things just like spad but a little more user-friendly

It works now, changed the ports as Asus Armory was blocking the standard port.

I run the profile for the FBW A320 by Guensli now, around 50% of the buttons are working...

Edit: Got everything working now except for all internal lights / ALL DISP + or -

Note, that the FBW A320 is a moving target as you can read in the description. So, due to its ongoing development, variables can change often.

I made the profile for the FBW A320 DEVELOPMENT version! Any other version will not work correctly.

However, my SD profile for it was updated some weeks ago, maybe some variables have changed since. But I doubt that 50% changed.

Could you please try any other profile and have a look if it works?

And please drop me a message at FlightSim.to for personal support.

Please ensure, that you have the last version of AAO and the SD plugin!

If sth is not working, please restart AAO and the StreamDeck (via the Task bar). If the errors still occur, write me at FlightSim.to

thx

Don't worry @guenseli!

I imported the scripts again, i messed something up. Everything (except the ALL DISP lights) is working! 🙂 Just testing it and playing around, looks great! I run the Dev Version of FBW A32NX, so maybe thats the problem in my case.

Do NAV MODE dec/inc and MAP RNG dec/inc on the EFIS panel work for you? They don't for me (Exp version).
