As amazing as the video taker managed to keep the aircraft in frame, s/he someone missed the actual ditching? I'm so glad that both were rescued in any case.

Thanks! It's so fortunate that the plane entered the water and not on land and that it managed to miss all of the boat traffic. It's also lucky that a RIB was instantly available to rescue them.

They had a wing walker act crash near show center at the Dayton Air Show back in 2013.  Not...pretty...at...all.  Those folks in Bournemouth were lucky, as in "go to church every day until you die" lucky.

Witness said wing walker got back in just before crash. Looked like plenty of time.
