Default 787-10: quite good even w/o the Heavy Div mod

TL:DR - The autothrottle is literally that from default FSX airliners.

Yes, that was my point, it does do a lot of things reasonably convincingly.  I expected far worse so am pleasantly surprised.  When I recall what I paid ~$39 for as the QualityWings 757 in P3D, it's pretty remarkable what the 787-10 can do out of the box, all of the things it can do quite well.  Do you know if the prior HD mod fixes TOGA mode?  That would be great if it does and will further tie me over until PMDG 737 arrives.

Re the Heavy Division mod the latest DEV version works fine for me. Or there's an SU5 compatibility patch. Links to both are available on their Discord.

That's good to know.  Do you mind posting a link to whatever addresses SU5 compatibility?  I've gone to HD, to github, and I don't know what you are referring to as to 'their Discord'.

Apparently their Discord is a closely guarded secret.  Every link to an invite I found through a google search came back as invalid, and they don't list one on the githib page.

edit... finally found one on the flightsim.to page.   https://discord.gg/CfHuVbWfpQ

Unfortunately I do not have a direct link. Discord is an annoying forum like App that everyone seems to use nowadays and the files are a one click download from their page on Discord.

There isn't anything that is more current, and that file causes far more problems than is solves.  So the advise is:  keep watching until the developer, Heavy Division, updates the modification to work properly with SU-5, or WU-6 as is coming soon.  In the interim, the stock 787-10 in SU-5 works quite well w/o modification.

You total wrong, sorry, there at minimum 20 builds more since this 0.1.9 Version, this Version is not working anymore..

I give, where are the 20 builds more?  Github routes you to Releases>Latest and this is what you see.  This file caused greater problems than it solved at least from my perspective.

Everyone in this thread knows, and has acknowledged that the latest stable build is old and doesn't work with SU5, so there is no need for the bold text, nor the snide tone.  Not everyone here is familiar with all the intricacies of github, myself included.  It is easy to see where there would be confusion when the main Heavy Division 787 page has this on the right side...

Releases 10

The "Latest" next to v0.1.9 understandably led many to believe that was the latest build available.  I didn't realize you could also get the latest dev build with the green box, and I imagine several other people here did not know that, either.

Regardless, it would appear that they are close to releasing a new stable build for those that are not interested in the dev version.

Thank you for the tip about logging into Github.   Might sound stupid,  but I didn't know that logging in there was a useful thing for end users.   I thought it was more for software devs.    I'd always seen the stream of "commits" by individual dev's,   but thought I better not mess with it. 🙃

Thank you for all of that.  I think I will wait for the completed next version as I'm just learning the idiosyncrasies of the default version and i've had some excellent completed flights w/ everything working as well as can be expected for a stock plane.  I really detest chasing updates and that is another reason I prefer to make purchases exclusively thru the Marketplace.  I like to spend time flying not fixing.

This does not sound stupid it is a bit, how to say, lets say comlicated if you not often there and needs some time you get behind this usage.

I am now often there because i fly the 747 and the 787 a lot and so i am looking often this sites, discord aswell,  there you can

discus problems as you fly thats realy  a good thing and very helpful .

I have learned this usage the last months i am beeing there but had the same problems at the beginning as most others had..
