Can't get airport weather icons on map

Hi. Running LNM 2.6.16 and can't get airport weather icons / flight rules to show up on the map.

I have seen this feature on Youtube and it is really handy 🙂 Tried following some of the earlier guidance on the topic but no luck for me.

I am flying MSFS, does LNM need to be connected to MSFS for it to work?

The flight rules are shown OK in the Airport Weather window...

Menu "View" -> "Show airport weather" and select one source in menu "Weather" -> "Airport weather source".

For MSFS you can use only one of the online weather sources (NOAA is best) since MSFS does not provide weather information via SimConnect. Therefore, no connection to the sim needed.

Can you provide an NOAA url that can be used in LNM. I have searched for an hour and can't find anything from NOAA that works.

Hi Steven,

the default URL used in LNM is https://tgftp.nws.noaa.gov/data/observations/metar/cycles/%1Z.TXT

All defaults are listed here in the manual: https://www.littlenavmap.org/manuals/littlenavmap/release/2.6/en/OPTIONS.html#weather-files-weather-files

A reset function would probably be nice. Noted.
