SimSkunkWorks P3v5 Aircraft are now Free

Recommended Posts

Get them at Simmarket or other webstore.

They really aren't too bad. Certainly worth the disk space for free!

Nice, but I don't see any manuals once they install?  These are pretty complex planes, they need manuals.  The SSW site has been pared down to almost nothing, there are still links to the skin packs for these planes, but not to the manuals.  LMK if you guys see something I'm missing.

I believe that the link to the manuals was in a "web tablet" interface that was listed as a cockpit panel in-sim.  At least, for the Tornado.  The links appear to be dead.

There is some documentation in either the "docs" or "manuals" folders in "./SimObjects/Airplanes/<SSW aicraft>"

Yeah, I found the checklists and stuff in the docs folder.  Helpful, especially as far as the actual aircraft is concerned, but not so useful for figuring out SSW's pop-up loadout gauge and so forth.

But it's OK, it took an extra half hour or so, but I figured out everything I needed to get the F-84F going.  That plane works pretty well in v4.5, btw.

I bet the Harrier is fun. I'm stuck with V4.5, so I'm going to have to pass, but I'm jealous of you v5 folks who can take advantage.
