Control Options Menu not allowing expansion

Recommended Posts

Hi All

When I am in the Control Options menu and I want to expand an individual section - say on Control Surfaces I can't get the sub menus for that section to drop down so that I can assign bindings. The only way to get to them is to select the Expand All but then you have to scroll down through all the sections.

I did a full sim re-install today to try and cure this and a few other gripes but it is there - was ok pre-SU5

Any help welcomed please

Don't click the "+" but rather the section name/tittle and it'll expand.

This caught me out at one point too!

I'm sure that in an earlier SU version, you could expand menu sections by clicking on the '+' as well.    And at some point, it seemed you could then only expand/collapse by clicking on the text.

Yes you could - it's a bug in the menu UI.

SU5 messed up the UI and not only the toolbars : mouse screen focus, click areas, inserting the name of airport in the search area etc.  I got fooled too a couple of times.
