Difficult to read yellow taxiway signs at night

Featured Replies

Wonder if someone could lead me to a setting that would make the yellow taxiway signs easier to read at night. It's almost as if the bright yellow is overwhelming the black lettering. Almost impossible to read if the aircraft is moving. I am using a lower end graphics card(GTX1050ti). Thanks for the replies in advance.

My understanding is that most of those signs are incorrect, anyway. Though I have heard that there is a product that corrects them for North America.

Job security tricks.

Optometrists will lobby to keep city street signs and airport taxi signs small. Dentists invest in candy companies. The dog catcher uses high frequency whistles to increase annoying barking.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

Not sure where you were going here. Just wanted to know if there was a setting that could improve the readability of taxiway signs

No setting that I know of but Justflight makes an (expensive) package that apparently changes the signs in all civilian airports in America. Another one for military airports in America. JF was trying to make them more accurate and much easier to read.

You can give a try by turning the Bloom setting off

Thanks guys. I'll try the bloom setting. Looking at the Justflight pack, I didn't see many examples of what the signs look like at night. Daytime is no problem.

Yep. This should almost be SOP for initial setup of any game, along with killing lens flare and other artificial camera artifacts that are stupid when you're supposed to be looking through the eyes of your character.

Bloom is particularly obnoxious in almost every game they use it with.
