Marketplace Purchases - Disable Without Deleting?

Featured Replies

I'm having some troubles loading a flight into/around Sydney.  I have Orbx Cityscape Sydney purchased and installed through the marketplace.  As it's several gigabytes in size, I was hoping to see a way to disable an add-on without deleting all the local files.  I am not seeing a way to do this, am I missing something?

If you can find it in your Packages folder, you can move the Cityscape folder out from there, and move it back later.

Or use MSFS Addons Linker.

If its Market place purchase, you an disable it! Install it when ever you want. go to Content Manager and simply uninstall!  IT will be there and you can install it when you desire!

I believe it depends on your installation, MS Store vs Steam.  For my current MS Store installation it is in this folder:

C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache

They certainly made it easy, did they not?

Marketplace downloads are stored at the ...\LocalCache\Packages\Official\OneStore,  and the Addons Linkers deals with the Community folder.-
