Cannot launch the Sim because of XBox?

Recommended Posts

Out of a sudden,I cannot start the sim anymore. During the start, I get a warning that xbox cannot sign in into my account. What the heck is going on there?

Saying major outage on accounts and profiles...

"You may not be able to sign-in to your Xbox profile, may be disconnected while signed in, or have other related problems. Features that require sign-in like most games, apps and social activity won't be available."

Would that have been possible before SU5, when MSFS was less dependent from xbox servers?

The Xbox server status page says "We're close to resolving the issue".  It's been saying that since yesterday, which doesn't give any confidence they are actually close to resolving.  I'm so sick of these ongoing problems.
