September 28, 20214 yr The Addons Linker app now has an option to search for and fix such conflicts.. have you tried that route? Edited September 28, 20214 yr by Bert Pieke Bert

Unfortunately, the Addons Linker tools do nothing to help this problem. I tracked the issue on my system to some Ohio airports from Flightsim.to. I ran, and corrected, the issues found by the tools, but the giant '11' remains at MYNN. The only way to get rid of it is to disable the Ohio addons. I'd like to contact the author, but I know nothing about scenery design, so I'm not sure what to ask him to fix... PC: I9-10900K, RXT 3090, 64GB RAM, 3840x1080 49" super-ultrawide

Not very easy, if you don't know exactly what you are doing since, the process would be: - First, fix where the GUID is defined, which means editing the .BGL which contains the GLTF file of the model embedded and change the GUID to a new one. - Find all places in every .BGL of the same scenery were that GUID was used, which might be many, change the GUID to the new one. This is quite complex and very easy to do mistake but, for the original scenery developer it's fairly easy, since he only need to change the GUIDs in his source .XML files (the one that generates the model, and the one that places it), and rebuild the project so, your best solution is alerting the original developer, maybe by posting on flightsim.to. I think some tool doing this automatically would be useful, at least to get to KNOW of the problem, if not fixing it. But, to do a proper job, it wouldn't be enough to "just" search for the GUID of the default SDK Sample, like I did. That would only report a problem of someone reusing the GUID from the SDK, but ANY case of duplicate GUIDs should be reported. So, perhaps, the Addon Linker tool might be updated to include a function to search for duplicates GUIDs. It should look into every .BGL, collect the GUIDs definitions and alert when there are two or more objects using the same GUID, listing the file in which they are found. I think there were about 30+ payware and freeware airports that have this same GUID. I think for now I'll just avoid MYNN unfortunately 😞. If there was an automated tool that could change this, it would be one thing, but doing it by hand is a no-go. Former Child, Current Adult

They can fix it easier than anyone else could. 13 hours ago, liamp51 said: I think for now I'll just avoid MYNN unfortunately That's not enough, I'm afraid. The problem is, since GUIDs for objects must be unique, it means only one ( not sure if it's the first or the last one, in loading order ) object will show for that GUID, the end result will be ALL these sceneries will show THAT single object, instead of the object they were supposed to show, which will be a big mess. June 21, 20223 yr Adding another scenery to the list of sceneries that cause this problem: MROC -by ARKA506 on Flightsim.to @virtuali I now have the UK World Update installed but still see the "Rubik's Cube", not the 11 sign, when I have one the faulty sceneries installed. June 21, 20223 yr ... and here I was thinking it was just an add for Stranger Things. An oversized Millie Bobby Brown would be an unusual addition to an airport. Edited June 21, 20223 yr by Glenn Fitzpatrick
June 22, 20223 yr This scenery is now problematic also. A huge rock mountain smack dab in the middle of the runway, not sure what's going on. https://flightsim.to/file/18347/project-life-bahamas-cat-cay-mycc I just went ahead and bought the payware version. October 17, 20223 yr I noticed this issue (large cube at MMYN) as well. I disabled my freeware sceneries from flightsim.to but the problem remained. After searching for the hex code in all my sceneries I found a number or airports: d:\MS Flight Simulator\Community\1-hvfr-airport-lhgd-godollo\scenery\global\lhgd_scene\hvfr_airport_lhgd_godollo_modelLib_0.bgl d:\MS Flight Simulator\Community\1-hvfr-airport-lhgd-godollo\scenery\world\scenery\hvfr_airport_lhgd_godollo_modelLib_2.bgl d:\MS Flight Simulator\Community\orbx-airport-essb-stockholm-bromma\scenery\Orbx\ESSB\essb-stockholm.bgl d:\MS Flight Simulator\Community\orbx-airport-essb-stockholm-bromma\scenery\Orbx\ESSB\modelLib.BGL d:\MS Flight Simulator\Community\pushbackstudio-airport-ycab\scenery\pushbackstudio\airport-ycab\modelLib.BGL d:\MS Flight Simulator\Official\OneStore\microsoft-airport-egpr-barra\scenery\microsoft\Barra-Airport\modelLib.BGL The top airport is part of the freeware Hungary VFR Airports, installed via OrbX Central. After removing these the problem was gone. I am glad I did not have the remove all the payware airports as well. So while the cullprit in this case was freeware as well, don't exclude any scenery from your search or you might miss it. February 21, 20233 yr Hi everyone! Use to have the same "Checker Blue Box" on my Nassau Scenery too...I bought the LYNDEN PINDLING INTL AIRPORT MYNN MSFS from SIERRASIM SIMULATION, and still have the same box at the airport. After search on the Web, i decided to deleted old my "community flies", and install the Scenery again...Done deal!! No more "Blue Box". Some how, when you download scenery's, you have too download a extra "library Pack", that may conflict with the Scenery in Nassau...The "blue Box", re please a windsock from the scenery...So, be careful when you add "extra" library object in to the game...Hope i help some one! Thanks....

I'm sure there are many utilities offering a similar way to search into files, recursively, for patterns of bytes. Oh my word. I don't even fully understand all the file system jargon here; but nonetheless, I followed your instrucitons and matched the info/settings to what you had here in this screenshot and I found the culprits on my system. In my case, it was two sceneries by two different developers: one was a San Juan VFR upgrade, and the other was a scenery enhancement for Banff, Canada. I disabled them with MSFS Addon Linker, loaded up the sim into MYNN and viola—that big blue/white box was gone! Crazy how a single file can cause issues in other packages; in this case, causing a problem in an entirely different region!
May 12, 20233 yr I had recent problems with MYNN, Nassau default. Strange artifacts were visible. After much trial and error, I shut down ORBX Bromma, ESSB, and the artifacts went away. Lee Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
