I don't know if this is right, I do not have RLTS_Traffic_LITE.

There maybe more errors, did you look into \errors?

I think you do not have the PSXT_MSFS version with the QUOTES_OBLIGED parameter. I added it upon special request from SimilAir and did not upgrade the version number.

see https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/608847-ivao_x-csl-now-recognised/?tab=comments#comment-4646528

Download and install 28.1 again, and try again.

I don't think titles without quotes work if there are space around the value

for instance:

title = AT76 DAH

will make PSXT_MSFS to ask MSFS to create a livery with title   <space>AT76<space>DAH

That first space will make it fail, the second space is no problem.

In PSXseeconTraffic for FSX/P3D  LIG would remove spaces around the title. For MSFS I did not do that because there was no need, the titles are in quotes..

But now you see this negative side-effect. I think i'll withdraw the QUOTES_OBLIGED parameter....

motishow,

WARNING: PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK - I ASSUME NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR RESULTS!!!

Here is a way you can add quotes to the title = XXXXXX in all RLTS liveries. By following these instructions title = XXXXX will be changed to title = "XXXX"

The settings must be EXACTLY as shown in this window. This is how I've added quotes without having to edit each aircraft.cfg manually one at a time.

If not already installed do a web search for Notepad++ and install it on your computer. Open Notepad++, select file/open to open an aircraft.cfg. type crtl/f to bring up the search window and configure as shown:

copy underlined text and paste in "Find What": title =(.+)$        (Selects everything after title 😃

copy underlined text and paste in "Replace With: title ="\1"        (Places quotes at beginning and end of selection)

Search Mode - Regular expression

In All sub-folders - box checked

Select the RLTS Airplanes directory in the "Directory" field: RLTS_Traffic_final_build\SimObjects\AIRPLANES     (My suggestion is that before trying this on everything, select a single aircraft directory EX: RLTS_Traffic_final_build\SimObjects\AIRPLANES\E135 and then click "Find All" button which will present you with a window showing all files and content that it has found matching your search criteria - this shows you what will be changed if you click "Replace in Files". Once you're satisfied that it's going to do what you want change Directory: to AIRPLANES  and click "Replace in Files" button.

Nico,

I haven't read the MSFS SDK (I need to) but is the quote requirement only for the title parameter or does it apply to string values for all parameters in aircraft.cfg?

Yes to all string values.

EDIT: I'm not so sure. I thought that because Asobo is putting quotes around all parameter it was mandatory. However, I see now the RLTS package without quotes ... These liveries do seem to work in MSFS.

So maybe I should allow both styles and in case of no quotes remove leading and /or trailing spaces.

I encountered various issues with "QUOTES_OBLIGED" value="false" so I reverted to default "QUOTES_OBLIGED" value="true"

But when "QUOTES_OBLIGED" value="true" it seems PSXT LIG relies on quotes for ivao_airline and atc_parking_types. An example: ivao_airline=AAL will not create a livery for AAL. Only after changing ALL instances of ivao_airline=XXXX to ivao_airline="XXX" does LIG recognize the airline codes. Same for atc_parking_types.

I updated ALL RLTS [Fltsim.X] so ALL values are either "strings" or numbers. I don't know if the number values should also be strings or not? Using some mildly advanced searches with Notepad++ it really didn't take too long.

Just start new with a fresh download of RLTS  and PSXT_MSFS 28.2. See https://www.avsim.com/forums/topic/609149-msfs-rlts-packages-now-fully-recognised/
