The Griffith Observatory and the Hollywood Sign

Featured Replies

Went sight seeing on my flight from KSAN to KNTD. Never made it to the Griffith Observatory in real life, but this looks pretty impressive in the sim. Not much flying here, but plenty of scenery.

Tremendous views! Love the tower detailing.

Outstanding shots!

Wow. Incredible shots. I flew out of Burbank, visible in the background of one of your shots for many years. One of my fondest memories from college is going to the Griffith Park Observatory with my buddies to see the "Lazarium" lazer shows.  They were awesome!

Thanks everybody. With the lighting in the sim and level of detail in some of these places, I really do feel like I'm there sometimes on these little jaunts. This is one amazing sim. I read sometimes about folk doing real time intercontinental night flights in the sim, and each to their own, but for me, this is what simming has always been about and it feels like it is finally possible to get the journeys and views I've been waiting for.
