The article you link to mentions Windows 11 Build 22000.282 (KB5006746) is now rolling out to testers in the Beta and Release Preview Channel of the Insider program and it finally fixes the performance issues previously acknowledged by AMD.

Not being a Beta tester or within the Inside programme, mere mortals like me have to wait a little longer. Why is the version you are showing as downloading not the same one as in the article you linked to?

The picture comes from the article, so its creators should probably be more able to answer that than me.

I would suggest its simply a stock photo giving an example of what a win 11 update looks like,

You can join the insider program and install that build in minutes.   Just click on where it says "Windows Insider Program" in your screen capture.   Then select the beta or dev channel.

Thanks for the suggestion I had not realised it was so easy, 24 hours on and the Beta is very stable on my rig 🙂

Both updates are now live (came 282 came through automatically on Windows Update):

This fixes one issue. But, it appears that AMD also has a new chipset driver which takes care of issue #2.

Does this improve all flight sim products or only MSFS?

Maybe it belongs in the Windows subforum.

It is unfortunate, then, that folks with older processors are not able to take advantage of (what I assume are) positives of W11. I know there is a hack to make it work but there is also a caveat that MS may not issue any updates to "hacked" W10 installations.

What are the benefits as far as Flightsimming is concerned?

I'll ask the bosses. It had crossed my mind that the request would arrive sooner or later.

8086K does. And you can make it accept TPM. What else is incorrect?

My much older one has i7 6700k which is too old.🤓 otherwise, it passed the check (after TPM fix).
