No static parked

NIco,

I am receiving this at all airports after setting up PSXT_MSFS and using RLTS AI liveries:

"There are 0 parking positions with valid options at 22:00 (utc) +/- 12 hours
0 parking positions to be filled = 0% (vs wanted 35%)
No static aircraft to be parked, there are no gates with an airline + type option that fit"

PSXT has generated 1690 liveries and 14537 airports. Would I be correct in assuming no parking options are created when scanning MSFS stock and addon airports?

pls could you tell how did you fix the RTLS models to use with psxseecontraffic? in my case if i use that models (tried with LITE and with final built) psxseecon  get the error "xxxxxx could not be created by your sim" and they can't be used

I am using now IVAO models but need to add specific models from RTLS like DC10, MD11 , Embarer and ATR

I think your problem can  be solved if you run the learner in that airport and let psxseecon to learn the traffic

 

 

The aircraf file of RTLS model (MD11) seems to be valid , don't know where is the problem , did you have any special?

Hi Steven,

The files created by AFG do not have parking options except for some add-on airports. Stock airports do not have information about airlines parking at gates. Add-on airports have some.

So yes, initially there are no parking options.

However, as soon as you let PSXT_MSFS run at an airport it will start collecting real live info about who parks where, when and with what type of aircraft. PSXT_MSFS adds that info to the airport file found in your airports sub folder and stores that (UPDATED)  file in your parked_updates subfolder for later use.

You can read about all that in the Manual, chapter 6.

There is also a Learner.exe program in your PSXT_MSFS folder (see Manual section 6.5). That program does the same as PSXT_MSFS but without the need for a connection with MSFS. So you can let that run together with RealTraffic to let it build up airport files for the airports you frequently visit. Just let it run (for hours/days) when you are doing other things, or when you are not at home..

Thanks for the information. I had not used PSXT since MSFS was released and finally decided to give it a try.

Unfortunately I have not had much success with RLTS liveries. There seem to be some questionable models/liveries that cause CTD's for me, and I have an ongoing issue with some liveries that I get "livery can't be created". Last night I quit using RLTS and installed this package: https://flightsim.to/file/18285/easy-airlines-aircraft-matching-with-default-live-traffic. It is VERY limited in the number of models. It's mostly some Airbus and a few Boeing passenger aircraft with around 2000 or so total liveries.

Anxiously waiting on AIG!!!

With the exception of making atc_model corrections to a few aircraft.cfg's I didn't fix anything in RLTS AI. Without doing some research I don't have any idea why some models/liveries don't work.

I loaded into KMEM stock airport last night to get some MD-11 or DC-10 Fedex traffic, but MD-11 couldn't be created and I think the DC-10 or MD-11 caused CTD - that's when I decided to abandon RLTS and just go back to the package linked above.

Think I may have figured out the issue with the RLTS package:

If you have been using it look in your MSFS community folder. You'll see this folder: "RLTS_Traffic_final_build_CVT_". CVT means 'converted'.

Clearly RLTS is using old texture files not compatible with MSFS and they are being converted on the fly by MSFS and saved to the above folder so they only have to be converted once, then the converted files remain so they don't have to be converted again. I SUSPECT (don't know unequivocally) that when the sim CTD's it is caused by a conversion error that is not being "caught" and the sim chokes and crashes. I SUSPECT this is also the cause of the PSXT error logged about not being able to create certain liveries. Why some show error in PSXT without causing an MSFS CTD, but others cause CTD is a mystery to me.

I have a possible solution I'm going to test that MAY mitigate this issue, but I'm not terribly hopeful...will report back in a day or so.
