It looks cool, and I think the A340 is a very interesting aircraft.  I have all the other Toliss offerings, which I very much like except for the weird mouse lag on the MCDUs, which they still blame on LR (no one else has this problem).  But, I'm passing on this one.  $90 for an aircraft with subpar modeling, passable (at best) sounds, and great systems.  All of those things have to be great to command $90.  I like Toliss, and hope they do very well with this release, but I don't see the $90 value there.  I'd pick it up in a sale for $65 or so, but not as it sits right now.  ini's a300/a310 are less and you get a much more polished product.

€93 is a lot of money indeed.
What are “ini’s a300/a310”?

People demand more accurate systems and prettier aircraft but than balk at the cost. I would hate to think as to how much time went into the development, so it will be less developers or simpler planes so they can be cheap.

Well, if they do get more accurate systems and prettier aircraft i think they would spend the money. If they don't, i guess something didn't convince them.

I think comparisons quality wise must be done with Inibuilds's offers, no? This feels like having the same standards as the A319-321

I ended up buying it. Yes, the A300 is better overall, but this Toliss bird is still very good and extremely light on the frames. The fact that they will support XP12 is also important.

For the A340 fans out there, I would definitely recommend this.

Our TAP had 4... They were called the "5 APU powered" airliners 🙂

I believe the variant might come with time.

How good does this a346 feel ?  Have you tried an autoland with gusting winds ?

I just flew with a guy who was a trainer on the 340-600, he said it was awful to fly manually and the first time he tried he was seriously concerned the side stick wasn’t working correctly !

I’m always interested in realistic airbus models though with which to learn airbus flying.
