MSFS Game of the Year Edition....

Featured Replies

Will we have to pay for this edition, or will it be a 'free' upgrade for all present Premium Deluxe owners?

From your lips, to the C.E.O. of Microsoft's ears....!!!!  🙂

It is free to anyone that owns the sim no matter what package you have. It will even be free for people playing through gamepass. Think of it as a free upgrade to the standard version.

Including the hotfix for SU6, the rest is just fancy stuff... well, I have to say..., in my opinion.

Cheers, Ed

I'm looking forward to the Hotfix of the year edition shortly after the release of GOTY Edition.

AMD 9800X3D,  NZXT X73 RGB AIO COOLER, Gigabyte X870 Aorus Elite WIFI7, 64GB 6000MHZ RAM, 4TB Samsung Pro NVME, 4 TB Crucial P3+ NVME, 4TB Crucial SSD, Gigabyte Gaming OC Geforce RTX5090, Antec C8 ARGB Case, X55 JOYSTICK/THROTTLES, LG 4K C4 42" TV/Monitor 120 Hz, 2 Dell 1080 monitors. Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Bravo Throttle. Thrustmaster TPR Pedals. Moza AB6 FFB Joystick, Pimax Crystal Light VR, Tobii Eye tracker, Steelseries Arctis 7+ Wireless Headphones.

I want the 'nose dragger' Cub, and will be interested to try the F-18, although weapons won't be allowed on it - so not sure how this will work with the Top Gun addon.

As others have said though, I am more looking forward to the bug fixes and feature addons.

Just a question...  I think a Pitts S1 is included in the GOTY edition (which is kind of separate from SU7 I believe), but isn't the Pitts S1 a payware aircraft in the Reno addon as well?

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.

Let me put it mildly. A nose dragger Cub is akin to blasphemy and the developer deserves public flogging.

😀 Well you can flog him all you like, and I might even join in just for fun!  But I still want to try it.   Although for a nosewheel bush type aircraft, it is the Kodiak I am really waiting for.

Anyway, isn't this done by the respected Cub Crafters outfit?

I've never been able to get along with tail draggers in the current sim or previous versions, so bring it on I say. 😁

I'm puzzled by the inclusion of the Porter though. It looks like we'll now have 3 versions to choose from with one of them free.

Are you questioning whether the NXCub actually a real thing?

Not a lovely move from Microsoft. Giving away free  an aircraft already sold by Milviz, and then probably cutting their sales to a trickle, and  already in development by an indie. Bad manners.

I just want a hi fidelity airliner for Christmas.
