This mountain based ship can fly. 🙂

Very nice model though!

Isn't that the Lake Geneva ferry?

Sorry, but I have no idea if that is the ferry. I tried to check the inventory of ships included in the free add-on but there are so many nice ships that I gave up lining them all up after awhile.
I can't wait for them to get ship wakes. Given that there's so much more water than land in the planet it would be nice to get improved shipping AI too. More so because the lakes, rivers, and oceans are much improved in MSFS compared to previous sims.

Its my Unterwalden!!!

Henrik had to elevate it in order to appear correctly on Lake Lucerne, which has a surface elevation of 1424ft....

Wow,  we're really trolling today aren't we.  First your ridiculous P3D payware airport screenshots, and now this thread... anything substantive to add.... maybe a comparison P3D shot of ships.....

Sorry you are feeling that way. But perhaps you may have misread the intent of the post or the comments made about it? I don't think anyone was necessarily bashing anything. Maybe they just reacted instinctively? I don't know. In my case, I just used two pictures and  the three words 'wasn't that bad'. I didn't say 'better', 'worst' , 'the same', or 'comparable'.  My point was that a lot of us spent a fortune on previous sims. Since there were no better choices at that time, in retrospect it 'wasn't that bad' when you compare the two pictures imho. The operative words were 'wasn't that bad'.

Just because a car is better than a horse, doesn't make horses bad. Horses were useful and weren't that bad in the good ole' days. More so if you hate highways or freeways and rather prefer the romance of winding country roads.

Couldn't resist....great song by The Frames about the story of Fitzcarraldo...

Clearly an anomaly in this otherwise excellent addon.  I guess it's just a quirk in the data for the height of the lake that Henrik will correct in his next update.

Even with the odd anomoly, this is a must have addon for me which is just amazing and continually being improved.

If you've never tried it, download it and give it a try.  I'm sure that you will not be disappointed.

No, please read what the developer wrote in this thread:

Can we please read a thread entirely before jumping to conclusion. This is NOT a mistake.

Like something outta World of Warcraft. Just needs giant slow-flapping wings.

Isn't that the flying ship out of the old 3DMark demo video?  It would be nice to have some of them flying Dolphins along side it!

But seriously, as stated above, if anyone has been following the development of this pack, they will know it is simply a workaround that had to be done by the developer to enable that specific ship on a European lake that is well above sea level, otherwise it will generate at global mean sea level and you would not see it on the lake.  The same for the Great Lakes shipping I suspect.  Not a real issue.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.
