For the red X the developer used 3 seperate names for each of  the winsocks, the model in the Sode, sim objects, WSM_MKJP is named skrg... use this in sim cfg file and the xml folder to rename this eliminated my red X   .

@greggd, thank you.  When I get home on Wednesday I’ll do as you suggest. 👍

@greggd, I've changed the files as per your recommendation and the windsock is now visible. Thank you.

I'm writing to the developer with your advice. Seems you know the scenery better than he does.

Thanks i don't but logically you cannot have 3 names for same item. I had the same problem,  just had a little extra time to fiddle with it. By the way why did he use sode for static aircraft?

Given the way this scenery was supplied I suspect he’s good at some aspects but less so at others such as an executable for installation and SODE.

Adding static aircraft via that medium is strange to say the least. Not heard back yet.

Seems likely. I suspect he didn’t have v5 installed. Still not heard back.

This is the jetway solution..

The lack of jetways has been resolved. The ini file in the scenery folder had a generic path. Once I corrected it they now show.”

Sorry sir if i am not the greatest when it comes to computers and configuring files in sim but how do I correct the path as u say? I admit i have not yet checked the scenery folder today but just hearing u say “generic path” I already know im not gonna be good at fixing this on my own😂

Open the ini file with Notepad. There is a path to the location of the AFCAD file. It points to a BGL file.

The path will not be correct for your installation. Change it so it is.

Ok in the scenery folder i found a file called configuration settings and saw the path u where talking about and it is pointing to a BGL but then what it the correct path sir? Sode? i don't know sorry for stupid questions XD but it would be really nice to get this legendary airport full working.

@Haitianpilot44, the correct path is to where you are now. Look in Windows Explorer towards the top of the display and it will show the path.

From memory mine is:-

C:\users\[yourname]\Documents\Prepar3Dv5 Addons\mkjp\scenery.

You can edit that file with P3D running and your aircraft positioned at the airport. After saving the new path go to the Addon menu in P3D - SODE and restart it.

All SODE objects will be generated and you should see jetways plus static aircraft.

The path is not needed for a long time now. Just cut it off. Should look like this

[general]
afcad_path = MKJP_ADEP5_WSM.bgl

Edited by blaunarwal

OS=WIN11 Home, Sim=P3D5 5.4 (P3D4 and FSX for install reasons)
Addons=ORBX, ASCA, AS, TOGA and tons of sceneries, aircraft
