DRZEWIECKI DESIGN KJFK for P3D

Recommended Posts

Can anyone help with the following issues with DD KJFK for P3Dv5:

A strange grey puddle has flooded the taxiway...

31L has disappeared (although the PAPIs are still working)...

I know it's an old scenery. But it says it's compatible for v5 so I would expect it to still work...

I suggest a 'delete & reinstall', I have a similar issue at same airport RWY04L, now all works flawless again.

I had an issue much alike this one in earlier versions of Prepar3D. Adjusting the mesh resolution solved it for me.

I've just reinstalled as advised above but now get these double jetway problems:

I tried renaming KJFK_JetWays.bgl and KJFK_JetWays_lb.BGL in the NY Airports V2 X/Scenery folder to .off but then I was left with this:

Anyone help? Thanks

Looks to me like GSX Jetways clashing with the DD Jetways. Check your SODE files and try to get rid of any extra entries for JFK that shouldn't be there

Where would I find the extra SODE files? Tried removing the DrzewieckiDesign_KJFK folder from SODE folder but it just left me with big red crosses on every jetway.

They would be in C:/ProgramData/12bPilot Most likely, check all of the folders for related files as there are others beyond what're in the Simobjects folder. That would be the only thing I could think of, though why GSX is overwriting the Jetways in the first place is beyond me somewhat.

Do you know which files I would be looking for? There are quite a few folders for different jetways, textures etc. As I said before, removing the whole folder from SODE just leaves big red crosses on all jetways.

SODE files will always include the airport name usually as an ICAO. So look for KJFK in both the SODE folder and the XML one.

I see you have asked the question on the GSX forum so let’s see what Umberto says.

Thanks, following advice from FSDT I got the correct jetways but I'm still struggling with jet bridges that now appear to go nowhere. See here:

Any help would be appreciated.

It seems you are stuck with this. I have the same DD as you but struggled with Jetways. Now have some connected to the buildings and some just starting in the middle of nowhere. I just make my view point from the other side of the aircraft, so that they are not visible.🤪

I noticed I had duplicates at KJFK after installing the inibuilds GSX profile-but not at T5 only at the BAW terminal (8 iirc) I’ll have to take a peek at the files and/or do a reinstall.
