Skiathos is out at Orbx...

Featured Replies

I might be wrong but if Matto, is the dev for that airport it really puts me off if and only if I am right in thinking he did KBUR, it took months to even make it even work above 8 fps and the texturing at KBUR when up close is just terrible. No, disgraceful from Orbx. I loaded at a GA spot very close to a large hanger and I thought I was back in FS98.

and the end of the runway is basically the San Martin of Europe.

visually perhaps, technically not. St. Maarten can handle B747s, Skiathos can not:

runway length in feet:

Skiathos  5.330 ft
St. Maarten 7.540 ft

landing distance of a Boeing 747

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

Yup! Skiathos is called the European St. Maarten basically for plane spotting. And like you said, Skiathos can not handle the really big stuff. But, all in all, very impressive how close you can get to the RWY!

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

"I hear Greek airport perimeter security is very strict. Been a few arrested for taking photos etc…"

😀 😀😀

I wonder what all these old signs along the airport fence mean, engraved into stone, must be some ancient greek mythos, philosohical secrets of Auld Lang Syne, I guess, since no one can understand their meaning nowadays anymore: "Please keep away. Jet blast!". anybody has an idea? probably:
