Freeware Piper Arrow III with VC

Recommended Posts

Guest JimC1702

Downloaded it from Flightsim.com. Quite a nice little package with an excellent VC and it's totally flyable from the VC. Has opening doors, window, movable sunvisors, etc. Comes with 3 paint schemes for different countries and even a 24 page manual.I did find one small error in the aircraft.cfg file, the ATC ID was wrong for one of the textures, but that was easily fixed.oh yeah, here's the file:pa28r201.zipMaybe it'll get posted here at Avsim too.Jim

I agree! Great plane with several surprises. A better 2d panel bitmap is available at Sim Outhouse. Together, they make a superb model.

It's nice that it has reflective glass but it needs to have the windows less cloudy. Some of the graphics gurus could probably fix it, but that's way over my head.Jim

I've only tried it in FSX. Frame rates are 2-3 fps better than the default C172.Cheers,Noel.

Nice little plane. Flying from the VC is great. It does have a fogged up feel to it. You can open that little hatch on the left to get some fresh air.

Guys, the only panel for PAIII I could find at Outer-House is for FS2004. Is there one for FSX I'm missing? Thanks.
