Recommended Posts

I guess the better your landing, the louder the claps?

Out of 25 years of flying, I only remember one flight where the passengers clapped, and it wasn't even a rough flight or landing, so I don't know why they did it lol.

I have managed to have many many flights where passengers clapped upon landing.  Those flights were across country, heading to Hawaii, and "hitting" rough turbulance. Shaking, rattling and rolling.

I see on other videos that you can choose sounds from an in game menu. I wonder if users can modify to their own sounds? Mel Blank used to speak a comedy pachuuk pachuuk engine sound for Jack Benny's Maxwell, LOL.

Free app that does the same thing with a good landing. Been using it for years, but stopped using it because my VA does the same thing. https://www.lrmclient.org/

I personally wouldn't want the 'claps' thing as I think it is a bit tacky.  It also seems to be disappearing now.

On a recent flight to the Canary Islands, on touch down, a few people in the middle of the plane started to clap, but soon stopped when nobody else joined in.  Then again, the plane was 90% British - very reserved you know!

Also, in my case, the suitable after landing sound effect would be someone shouting 'Did we just land? Or were we shot down?'

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

In the video, you can notice the very subtle default MSFS camera movement when he is on time x 2.

One thing I don't understand is how they can have the vibration / camera shake on take-off etc., but they don't know how to do the other forms of head movement.  Isn't it basically accessing the same effect?
