AC is always rolling forward after clicking *fly now*??...

Recommended Posts

When flight plan is finished loading the ac is always rolling forward, even though throttle is at idle. Must be ready to apply breaks immediately, or ac will run into terminal. Anyone else experience this?Scott

Make certain that your AP "spd" button is not "on".

Nope----- nothing is turned on. The minute the loading is finished and the ac appears on the screen it's rolling forward. Have to hit the brakes immediately!Scott

The problem is, in previous versions of Flight Simulator, the default flight started on the ground and the parking brakes were set. In FSX, the default flight starts in the air so the parking brakes are not set. You need to create and save a default flight on the ground with the parking brake set. Then you won't have the problem any longer.Jim
