ai aircraft showing up at the wrong airports

Featured Replies

Hi guys, I've tried everything i can think of and still cannot figure out what i'm doing wrong.

I have installed the brilliant aig ai manager and traffic controller beta  ( already use it for p3d)
I have only  installed 3 airlines so far, to check its all working and the fact that i can see these ai aircraft would suggest that they have installed ok.
So somewhere within msfs or aig traffic controller i've done something wrong. I followed the user guide and have it setup correctly (i think) but something is not right.
In MSFS i have traffic type off ai aircraft density is grayed out
Ground aircraft density is set at 100 if I have this set at 0 then i have no ai aircraft at all (should this also be set at 0)
use generic plane models is set to off (ai traffic)
use generic plane models is set to off (multiplayer)
and traffic variety is set to ultra. Any ideas if i've missed any settings.
Other thing I've noticed but not sure if they are applicable are I do not have to start aig tech traffic controller before msfs starts. also I occasionally see paint schemes for other airlines and aircraft types that are not installled in aig plans.
my guess is i've done something wrong in the traffic controller setup but i have no idea what. It seems like msfs is ignoring the aig traffic controller and putting ai aircraft where it wants.

Not yet Noel,

However it now seems to be playing ball and I have the correct airlines in the correct continents.!!

I have changed nothing in traffic controller  and rechecked msfs settings again I had read that ground air traffic density should be 0,so i changed that setting again and restarted the sim for the umpteenth time but this time it all worked. i'm thinking that it was an msfs thing going on,but at least it seems to be working at the moment.

I have discovered one thing that I will investigate tomorrow regarding density at the airport. If you start at an airport at say 12:00 you will get a certain amount of AI but if you change the time using the slider to any time before or after 12:00 and then return the time to 12:00 you will get a lot more AI at the airport. Don't know why that is but it seems to happen at all airports so far.

Cheers
