Just Flight Arrow, Turbo Arrow, and Warrior II Updates

Featured Replies

Just Flight just released updates for their Arrow, Turbo Arrow, and Warrior II.  Kinda odd to me that they released these the day before SU7, but glad to see them nonetheless.

Trim axis on the Turbo still not fixed. Even worse than before. Can not assign an axis to make it go from full up, it only goes from neutral to full down.

Is it fixed on the warrior?

Trim on  the Arrow (non turbo) was perfect and needed no improvement, in my opinion. I don't have the other planes.

5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB  PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.

EDIT: Fixed in 0.5.1.

After SU7 I have a weird problem:

(I have the latest Turbo Arrow and latest GNS750 mod)

I can no longer select the GNS750 (mod), only the other radio stacks.

All the Garmins have a black screen. GNS530, GNS100... . And yes I have turned them on.

Does anyone have any tip or suggestions to fix this?

Does anyone know if they've fixed the stall dynamics in the Warrior? One thing I've noticed is it's very difficult to get the thing to stall and you run out of elevator authority and have to start trimming up (would never have to in the real life) to even get the stall warner to even sound.

This Warrior pilot disagrees with what you say. The real thing stalls as if it hasn't stalled. It's easy to think you are not in a stall. The Just Flight version behaves as it should from what I can see.

Warriors don't really "break" or "nose drop" during a stall....it's more of a "mush" or "slight nose down."

I flew with a CFII once and he said if you got in a cloud in a Warrior, and were not instrument rated, you could trim a warrior full nose up, cut power, and it would mush all the way to the ground at a fairly low rate of descent, and you would survive. .

I fly Warriors in RL. Yes I agree the stall is quite benign and they certainly don't want to spin. However in the JF model even if you pull full up elevator it won't even get slow enough for the stall warner to sound before it drops the nose and enters a gentle descent at about 65kts, without adding a lot of up trim. This is certainly not the case in RL.
