RealAir Scout In P3D V4.5 HF3 and V5.2 HF1 Issues

Featured Replies

I had the RealAir Scout installed in P3D V4.5 HF2 and V5.0 with help from RamonB. The Configuration Panel worked OK and gauges appeared in the Scout as I specified. After a long period of FS inactivity, I had to do a complete reinstall of Windows 10 and when I reinstalled P3D I went to 4.5 HF3 and 5.2 HF1. In getting back to the Scout, I am having a few issues:

(1) When I run the Configuration Panel, I now get messages that there are scripting errors which I have ignored. The URL included in the Configuration Panel for RAS goes someplace else. The configuration seems to still work though. I select the vacuum gauges, HSI, and regular ADF for both the regular Scout and the Scout Tundra which is where my lighting modifications are.

(2) When I start up and select the Scout Tundra in V4.5 HF3 or V5.2 HF1, when the panel loads, the HSI is not there. Sometimes it is there momentarily then blinks out leaving a hole in the panel. Same thing happens if I start with the regular Scout. However, if I go back to select vehicle and select whichever of the Regular or Tundra I did not pick first, the HSI is there when it loads. This gives me a work-around but I'm wondering if there is a way to fix. Tried playing with the panel.xml gauge in the Config folder and was able to get the HSI to not appear on reload of the other Scout but not to get it to appear/not disappear.

Has anyone seen/solved this?

Thanks,

Stephen

BTW - Another observation. In V5.2 HF1, if I start the default aircraft and then start the Scout Tundra, the HSI is visible on the panel of the Tundra.
