Live AI not departing - Workaround by AIG

Featured Replies

Not sure why but, still not getting any aircraft taking off?

Starting TC before MSFS and tried starting after MSFS already running.

Tried with "Use AIGFP" box ticked and unticked.

😞

You should not tick AIGFP with ST, I run the program when I'm in the cockpit, no settings needed.

I sat for a long time watching AI on EDDF, and there were many airliners who taxied out and take off, but I had to wait a few minutes before they started moving, but the strange thing was that it was only the aircrafts that didn't have a name tags that was taking off, I used Live Traffic with aircraft density at 50, and it was those random placed aircrafts that was taking off, how is that possible?

because AIG is "cloning" the actual airplanes and the new once have no nametag 😉

What do yo mean with "ST"

That explains it, it seems to work really well 👍

Simple Traffic.

So from what I'm understanding...the correct way to do this is....

1. Load up sim and set traffic to real-time online.

2. Open AIGTC

3. Untick "use AIGFP" check box in TC, but keep TC open as normal for the workaround to take effect.

I'm excited to see how it works.

I open AIGTC before opening the sim, and it works.

I'm a bit confused. I want to use MSFS Real Time Live Traffic with AIG airliners. Is this the correct order/procedure to achieve it?

Boot MSFS

Check MSFS Traffic settings:                          Real Time Online-Traffic           ON

Ground Aircraft Density           ZERO

Use gen. plane models (AI)     OFF

Use gen. plane models (MP)   OFF

Start a flight

Load flight

Start AIG Traffic Controller                 Use AIGFP                                  UNCHECKED

                                                                Autoinjection on Startup        UNCHECKED

Seems right, but you need to put Ground Aircraft Density at a higher value, otherwise you will get almost empty gates at the airports.

That's me, too, and it works. However, I have the option to inject traffic  in AIGTC automatically to "off" and only activate traffic after starting the flight.

Kind regards, Michael

I've got AIG working however I notice some flights flying at really low altitudes (1000-1500ft) above an airport. When I check flightradar/flightaware, the actual flight is much higher directly above the airport. Seems that altitude is not working with AIG?
