I cant comment on the US, have no experience in that respect of course.

I could.  I could make comparisons in spades.  But the moderators would shut the thread down in a millisecond.

I wish there was a forum where we could discuss politics, Covid, religion or anything we wanted.

I'm like you are Martin.  In my small world of Roswell New Mexico many of the things that ail the rest of the country aren't present so things are pretty good.  But if I lived in one of the larger cities or certain states I don't think things would be as pleasant.  Plus I take solace every evening in old feel good movies.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

Hi Noel!  These are my favorite 2 combo aircraft and simulators all-in-one!

I had so much fun with those as a kid. The glider was a dime and the rubber band powered was a quarter for a day of fun and amusement. The video game generation of today’s kids don’t know real fun. It was interesting to wind her up and feel the power  of one rubber band thrust as the plane pulled eagerly against your hand.

I think that's one of today's biggest problems with kids.  They never go outside and play alone with a couple of friends.  The only time they go outside is to play organized baseball of soccer under adult supervision.

We couldn't wait to change our clothes after school and rush up to the corner to meet the guys.  What will we do this afternoon?  Play cowboys and Indians?  Go to the park for game of touch football.  Go to playground, check out a basketball, and shoot some baskets?  Or maybe get our fishing gear and go down to Muni Pier and try to catch some shiners?

How many kids today have ever climbed a tree?  I guess it's more dangerous today than it was back then.

Do you know how fortunate we were as kids that computers hadn't been invented yet?

I wrote a whole bunch of stories so my great grandkids would know what life was like in the olden days.

As a scenery modder  back to fs9/fsx days, I think most FSX scenery would happly working up untill P4D if not P5D

FS9 scenery is a little different, the biggest difference is FS9 doesn't have earth curvature, so airport ground mesh like runway/appron/background, or some stright long fence/wall could be perfectlly flat with only one polygon, when it's been port into FSX/P3D, the system couldn't bend it to fit on earth, so there would be pretty nasty visual problem.

Howevey if the seceney developer have the intent to let it work on both FS9 and FSX back then, it's very easy to just add some polygon to the long and big flat mesh, like 200m*200m would be enought, then FSX/P3D system would automaticlly curve it, so they would works both happly on FS9 and FSX/P3D (assuming developer didn't break it with FSX's advance material to FS9 then)
