Had an OpenXR Dev Tool Update Today

Recommended Posts

Was just before leaving for work so haven't had a chance to check it out. Has anyone tried it and seen any changes?

I've just had a few flights. Unless it's related to good MS server performance today, I've had a couple of the most consistently stutter free flights yet. Maybe there's an improvement with it 🙂

This update also fixes the HP Reverb G2 VR mode toggle problem.  No need to enable anything in the "OpenXR Developer Tools" app for this fix to work.  Tried also the latest rev of this tool's Toolkit preview and Motion reprojection.  Reprojection is a lot better, but while it does a great job at smoothing out jitters of the view from the VR virtual cockpit, it still introduces a little distortion when viewing through a spinning prop.  Not sure if I'll use that feature regularly.
