error in scenery entries when loading scenery database

When Updating Scenery Database I got this error message. The scenery displays fine and there no error messages from X-plane.

Error: Found file version . Minimum supported is 850.

This seems to be a very old scenery. Maybe even before X-Plane 9. Sorry, LNM needs at least 850.

This omits only the 28AK scenery from loading. Everything else is not affected. You can ignore the error or exclude the file from loading in the options dialog on page "Scenery Library Database".

850 is the version number of the apt.dat file which contains the airport facilities and layout.

Looking at the error message "Error: Found file version ." again it seems the LNM did not find any number at all. Strange. Maybe the file is broken.

Hi Dale,

thanks for the file. I'm not sure if there are too many empty lines in there or if this is forum formatting. The second line has to contain the version number which is 1050 in your case.

A correct apt.dat with the version number in the second line would look like below:

Hi Alex,

So the problem was what you mentioned. I moved the line with the "1050 Generated by WorldEditor " below the letter A like in example you provided and LNM Scenery library accepted it.

So thanks again for the help.

Easy fix. 🙂

I'll make LNM more tolerant for these kind of deviations.
