Good news if you are in a bind

Recommended Posts

I mean of course binding the controllers 😉...

I have quite a few strange problems with my controllers after Su7 (not very original) that I decided to make, for a new  bird, a totally new map. Not using a default map and changing it where needed.

I see with pleasure that Asobo has added a keyboard scanning function that allows now to bind a key or a switch just by using it instead of scrolling a drop down menu.

Hi;

This option was there for quite a long time which I have used with the same purposes. Good that you explored it for your needs, as well. The latest update is really good for binding because it doublicates the options. Now, they added to select a function for hold and release of a key binding which is very useful.

Happy Flying...

That has been there since day 1. Used it to set up my old CH Flight sim yoke way back when.

Should also note that if you're wondering what is bound to a key or button or axis, there is a search by input field on the left side of that controls dialogue. Click once in that field, then press the key or button, or move the axis, and it will populate the right side with everything bound to that key (including key modifiers), button, or axis for the specific control you are currently looking at.

For example, if you are looking at the keyboard, click once in the search by input field, then press the g key. It will then show you all the bindings that use the g key, including those that also use the CTRL and ALT keys.
