MSFS CTRL +  TAB  don't turn on VR

Featured Replies

Got a new Reverb G2 but pressing CTRL +  TAB  don't turn on VR. Can't find out what's wrong . Any one here know?
OpenXR Runtime is installed and working. Mixed Reality boots up with the headset on, It all works in the headset and I can run the programs in the house. but when I boot up MSFS it will not go into VR pressing CTRL + TAB. I just cannot find out why MSFS CTRL + TAB does not work. Any Suggestion welcome.

Make sure you have the CTRL + TAB keys bound in the Controls menu under keyboard.  If you have set it other then Default keyboard, you will need to add this.

Also with the Reverb G2, if you have the headset on (active) it can deactivate your keyboard. You get a blue ribbon along the top of the monitor  with something like " select windows key + Y to access keyboard" or something to that affect, as I'm going by memory.  I usually take the headset off and point it to the floor. This will cause that blue bar to disappear, unlocking the keyboard. Then try the CTRL + TAB.

Not sure why, but sometimes I have to hit [Windows Key]+[Y] to get VR mouse and CTRL+TAB to work.

Fixed it. I just run DCS turned on VR and a pop up appeared "VR Headset must be plugged in to main video card" Yes I have two cards main one a RTX 2080Ti and a RTX 2060 so I just swapped the VR displayport for a monitor displayport in the main card and wallaaaa! it worked 🙂

Glad you got it sorted out
