FSLTS - Live Traffic using Flightradar24

I can understand you, but let me explain myself better.

PSXT is not perfect even with free or paid traffic provider. It also have glitches and problems. Therefore, the only reason is not the money.

Real Traffic and Flight Radar 24 take their data from the same source….

So if you see glitches happening on RT you will see then on FR24 too.

Nico (PSXT) has worked for 5 years on PSXT to  intercept several data issues and solve them. That is the strength of PSXT…

The glitches were not related with the data. They were related with other thing such as livery match, etc.

And I am not saying that PSXT is bad. I used it and know it was nice. I just said, FSLTL will be a good solution as it seems and as it will be free.

Hmm...I have both and have never used timeshift feature.  How does it work?

I don't have it installed at present (because I dislike the "learning" of airports required), but last I used it there was a slider to shift time back. According to the website this feature is still present.

  • Standard subscription still offers 7 day history, but no longer provides satellite imagery.

Perhaps one of the active users ( @GSalden ?) can help.

Kind regards, Michael

I am not talking about livery matching as that depends on how many ac types / airlines you have installed.

I am talking about things like skating to the sides, standing still to long, stopping before the tarmac and staying there…

I’ve been thinking about something. If there are licensing conflicts regarding liveries now, then how were the likes of MyTraffic/Ultimate Traffic legal in the past? Or were they not?

I have been told airlines wouldn't care about those dwarfs. MS plays in another league where they can sue for real money.

Certainly a bit strange, but that's what I heard.

Kind regards, Michael

hmmm, Erez wrote that he will convert the FAIB stuff on his own...

So now I actaual wonder?????????

According to their FAQ on discord, they are using some Models without authors explicit permission.

WHAT’S THE LEGAL STATUS OF THE MODELS?

We have all permissions on porting these models, except from TFS and FAIB. During the last year I’ve tried all possible means of contacting their original authors, unfortunately with no success, as they left the scene years ago. I decided to give a new life to their work…

so it is illegal....

And by the way, there was a reason FAIB did not respont na dhe has posted i his Forum that he will convert them by himself.

Always sad to see a certain member of the AI community doing literally nothing but trying to hinder this project.

When one is confident in what he does, he should look at his own thing instead trying his worst to attack others. Apparently, someone really lacks this confidence.

whats so hard to follow the rules and laws??????

The developer of FSLTL seems to ignore the rules we have in the freeware community since many years.....

Everybody must be interested with his/her own job. Please do not defend or attack anybody/anywork instead of themselves.

If there is something wrong or not legal, the owner must do his own job and argue about the subject. And this should be betweem them.

The problem here is, people are defending something more than its owner. No one is targetted and please do not take this offensive.

For example, when I want to talk and remind about MS/Asobo's responsibilities, many people are more defensive than the developer. Please , let them to talk or not talk about themselves.

I dont get what is the problem now, she said, they have tried to contact them for over year but they left the scene. So if they use them while still credit to the original author, why this fuss now?

I don't know what's behind this, but one thing I do know. It's not your place to defend someone else's copyright. If they want to do so, they'll reach out to FSLTL's admins (which are very reachable) and they will sort it out. You're not involved and you're not a party in that discussion so I would suggest you focus on making your own AI solution the best it can be instead of trying so hard to attack others.
