Irritated, just got an MSFS update in the MS Store?

Recommended Posts

MSFS was just updated, downloading mandatory fixes (694MB) now through installation manager. Yes, I opted in the coming beta flight but wasn't this supposed to start only Dec 6? Early start, anybody else?

Edit v1.21.17.0 now, additional 4.4GB on Content Manager...

Reading this post, I just went to the M.S. Store and Library and hit the top UPDATE tap. It did its (animation) thing but reported (with updating nothing) that I was all up to date....  No update for me...as of this date...

perfect short hop in the CRJ from EDDM to LOWI, actually best flight ever. stayed on GS and no trim runaway. looks promising...

Oh, so this might be only for BETA users...ok...that would explain no update for myself.  Got it!

Beta as well or does that apply globally since injected?

Beta only.
The ugly clouds beneath the ground seem to be gone as well.
Can you confirm, Phil?

Given how serious this affects us simmers, they must have decided to start the beta early...

Hi Michael,

Install and launch X-Box insider for PC, you'll find the option there. 😉

There seems to be nothing which has to do with MSFS 2020...

How does it work, when the Beta is ended, do those who were in the beta, get another update when the official version is released? or will it mess up my install? just pondering...
