Irritated, just got an MSFS update in the MS Store?

By DAD, in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)

MSFS was just updated, downloading mandatory fixes (694MB) now through installation manager. Yes, I opted in the coming beta flight but wasn't this supposed to start only Dec 6? Early start, anybody else?

Edit v1.21.17.0 now, additional 4.4GB on Content Manager...

Reading this post, I just went to the M.S. Store and Library and hit the top UPDATE tap. It did its (animation) thing but reported (with updating nothing) that I was all up to date....  No update for me...as of this date...

perfect short hop in the CRJ from EDDM to LOWI, actually best flight ever. stayed on GS and no trim runaway. looks promising...

How does it work, when the Beta is ended, do those who were in the beta, get another update when the official version is released? or will it mess up my install? just pondering...
